Steering System Parts
Introduction
The electronic power system is a more advanced steering system. Steering is controlled and aided with electronic power from the battery and it uses an electronic module for higher precision and better control. Since the system does not use the power from the car’s generators directly, power loss does not occur (for hydraulic system, the maximum loss is ranged from 5 to 10 horsepower). The system only consumes electric energy when steering aid is needed; therefore, power loss is reduced efficiently.
